Part cat/part cinematographer, He has worked professionally in the film & TV industry for more than a decade. A man of few words, He prefers to speak through the lens. Bringing creative, cinematic visuals to life is his passion.

He has gaffed numerous Available Light projects where his positive attitude makes the set an easy, fun and safe environment. Always nearby, he can often be located by meowing and waiting for his response. His meticulous study of how things are put together also makes him a whiz at repairs.

A highly respected gaffer, key grip, and director of photography, He is a master of whatever he puts his mind to. His skill and endurance are legendary and rare is the challenge he hasn't overcome. His good-nature and skilled eye bring value to every production he is a part of.

For nearly 25 years, Nick has been an institution in the San Diego lighting & grip community. Known for his wry humor and quick wit, his technical knowledge is impressive and his completed projects too extensive to mention. In short- Nick Berry Rocks.

He is exceptional. His light-hearted approach to stressful situations often calms those around him. His instincts are sharp and precise and his creative approach and 'get-it-done' attitude make him a welcome addition on any set.

Extensively experienced in all types of set lighting, He was born for this business. Raised in LA by a 728 gaffer, He started working sets as a teen in the mid-90's., eventually attending UCSB where he worked in the Film Studies Dep. His attention to details and ability to think for himself have made him an important asset to call on.

Originally from Virginia Beach, VA, He is now the primo San Diego rigger/juicer to call on. His credentials are extensive and impressive and include work on Spielberg's Lincoln, Transformers 3 and HBO's John Adams. He also operates 'Neptune Power Company', a production-industry generator rental business. He provides the power and the cable for many larger Available Light projects.

He has worked as Key Grip on countless films, television shows, and commercials. All this experience has given him keen insight into the grip industry. Founder of the world famous @griprigs on social media and owner of www.gripsupport.com, an on-line forum and storefront for all things grip, He has helped define the next generation of grip equipment. His reputation is literally known the world over. A nicer, kinder man you will not find. It is a fortunate day when He can join us on set.

Lovingly called 'Ghost Dog', He is like the wind. He just appears at the exact moment you need him. A veteran Key Grip of numerous films & television projects, He doesn't talk much- but his deeds do. He is always a welcome addition to the team.

He is sort of like the Swiss Army Knife of the set. His extensive on-camera and behind-camera knowledge make him adaptable to whatever the circumstances require. Nothing could be truer than the day is always smoother with Sid in the mix.
